Background and Education
Self-taught, with the exception of courses through the North Light Art School and various workshops.
Designated as "Member of Excellence" of the Southeastern Pastel Society. Also a member of The Artists Guild of Clayton County. Works have received numerous awards in juried competitions and are held in many private and corporate collections such as Northrup Grumman and Frito Lay. My work has been featured in NorthLight magazine and I was commissioned to create a lifesized painted cow for Cowparade Atlanta.
INERESTS
Travel, nostalgic buildings and disappearing american landscapes. While I enjoy a variety of subjects, I am usually drawn to scences which convey a strong sense of light and shadow. My goal is to draw the viewer into the scence and hope that they experience the feeling of being in that place, that time, or that atmosphere.
